Loved our stay at Mount Pleasant. We stayed here with family and small children. Check in was simple, house was clean, has off-street and free on street parking, everything was a quick drive away. Lots of space especially in the kitchen and dining. Bathroom has ensuite with toilet and then there’s the second bathroom with another toilet in a separate room. Has a balcony and backyard. Bedding was hotel quality and very comfortable to sleep and also had electric blankets so we were very warm on the cold nights we stayed. Full laundry with washer/dryer with laundry liquid. Cute view of a hill from the dining area with bunnies hopping so although it’s suburban it still has some country feel. Another review mentioned maintenance issues which did make us question staying here but nothing mentioned affected our stay at all and nothing felt unsafe. Would love to stay here again and recommend it for a stay in Ballarat.

Overall the house, was fantastic good location for where it is, good place for all the tourist attractions but on the negative note there was some minor damages to the walls due to the door stoppers being extremely short and to the secondary/main bathroom it’s dangerous due to the door being able to slam into the glass which can get someone hurt where it’s a place where you typically go bare foot, a extremely dangerous fault to the onsweet bathroom as soon as u lock the door the person is stuck in the bathroom until somone unlocks it from the outside this can be a huge fault if a emergency happens

Tom was a great host. House is lovely, clean and tidy, the outside, ie entryways and gardens were clear, clean and maintained. Big open spaces inside, good size bedrooms, lovely kitchen to cook in and plenty of seating. A 5* B&B.
